AS MAAG Grupp acquired AS MAAG Konservitoostus in 2001. Their food-canning industry deals with the production and distribution of different canned meat and ready-to-eat products mainly in Estonia and Germany, but more and more also inother European Union member states.
In the first quarter of 2006, they completely reconstructed an existing production line. All in all, they invested 2.0 million in updating and expanding production. At the moment, they have two technological production lines for production of various different products.
Traditionally, their main brand has been Frank Pott; they offer over 20 different cans of pork, beef, poultry and game. In 2006, after updating production and distribution of canned meat and sausages and ready-to-eat products under the brand Reinsdorfer for different supermarket chains in Germany. At the moment MAAG Konservitoostus has 1868m2 of production premises.
On 28 August 2007 MAAG Konservitööstus was issued the IFS (International Food
Standard) food safety certificate.
